Dual Enrollment Policy

As a nationally recognized exemplary school, Foley will prepare you for college and beyond. 99% of Foley’s students go to college, so you will be challenged to meet your potential.

College credit can be earned through Lawrence Technological University, Madonna University, and Oakland Community College through our dual enrollment program. The courses are offered either on-site or at the college where the students, a Bishop Foley teacher, and instructors from the college work together to achieve college level credits while still in high school.

Additional benefits of the program are:

– The costs for the college credits is significantly less than what they would be as a
freshman attending the college
– The student is a fully registered and accepted student in the college, virtually
guaranteeing them admittance the following year
– The student begins their college career with the credits already counting toward
the college education. This reduces the amount of classes needed to take in college,
and/or allows the student to take additional elective courses.
– The classes count for both high school and college level. It’s like getting two
credits for taking one class.
