The medical science club is open to all students who have an interest in learning about the human body. The club is run by Dr. Richard Wille (Doctor of Gastroenterology) in coordination with Mr. Swanson to bring real-world medical topics into the hands of students. In the past the club has learned about: Taking Blood Pressure, Drawing Blood and how important Blood Cells are for the Body, How to Suture/Stitch open cuts/wounds, Dissecting and Learning the importance of Kidneys, Skin and Skin Cancer, What an EKG is and how it works, Field Trips to Dr. Wille’s Surgical Center and much more. The club continues to grow in popularity and gives students a chance to do real science outside the classroom.
