The Venturian is a student run school newspaper production. Students who would like to become a member of the Venturian staff must take Journalism I and pass with C or better. Once in the class, students apply for editorial positions and are awarded editor positions based on the number of years on staff, writing skills and whether the student received B- or better in Journalism I. The students on the Venturian staff design the issue’s storyboard, conduct interviews, gather information, compose articles, design article layouts and create the newspaper booklet for print. This year, the staff has combined monthly issues in order to produce larger issues for the Foley community. Also new this year, the Venturian staff has published our issues online.
