Application Process

The Application Process at Bishop Foley Catholic is designed to be as simple as possible to the prospective parent. Admission to BFC is competitive and based on several criteria. Each candidate for admission is reviewed on an individual basis.

Please turn in the materials below to be considered for admission. Currently Admissions for Incoming Freshman and Transfer Students is on a rolling basis until each class reaches capacity. Acceptance letters are mailed the last week of January for 8th grade students.

Freshman Admission

BFC requires the following materials for admission:

Complete and return an Application Form
Take the High School Placement Test* (various dates)
Completed Student Profile
7th and 8th Grade Report Cards

Registration Process

Once you have been accepted to Bishop Foley Catholic High School, you will need to complete the forms on this page.

High School Placement Test*

The high school placement test is a requirement for all 8th grade students looking to attend a Catholic High School within the Archdiocese of Detroit. Bishop Foley offers the test four times throughout the year. Please contact Mr. Mangold at (248) 585-1210 or mangoldatbishopfoleydotorg for more information.

Student Profile

The student profile should be completed and mailed to BFC by your current school. The student profile can be found here.

7th & 8th Grade Report Cards

Report cards should be sent from your current school. Schools often include them with the student profiles, but occasionally they forget. If this happens, please remind them to send your student’s report cards to BFC.

* Students that list BFC as their first school preference are eligible for the James Group Scholarship. The scholarship awards $1,000 for 4 years to the 12 highest scoring students that take the test in November or December.
