Michael Madsen Named New Assistant Principal

Bishop Foley Catholic has announced that Michael Madsen will become assistant principal effective August 14. He is replacing the former assistant principal, Frank Accavitti III who recently was promoted to principal.

Madsen has over 15 years of experience in public education. He served in various roles including, teacher, coach and administrative intern in the Romulus Community and Highland Park school districts. Prior to working in the educational sector, Madsen served as a social worker working with at-risk youth and families.
 
“Mr. Madsen is a true embodiment of the mission and values we hold dear. We are thrilled to welcome (him) as the Assistant Principal of Bishop Foley Catholic High School,” said Bishop Foley Catholic President and Father Gerard LeBoeuf.

“I am excited at the opportunity to come to Bishop Foley Catholic and be part of a great community focused on the success of our students,” said Madsen.
 
Madsen earned two bachelor degrees in education and social and criminal justice from Central Michigan University and a master degree in educational leadership from Madonna University. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a practicing Catholic.
