Application Process

The Application Process for eighth graders, that are new Bishop Foley Catholic students, is designed to be as simple as possible for prospective parents. Admission to BFC is competitive and based on several criteria. Each candidate for admission is reviewed on an individual basis.

Admission Process & Requirements

There are five steps involved with the admission process.

Step 1:  High School Placement Test Scores

BFC offers the test four times throughout the year. Please see the High School Placement Test page for more information and registration details.

Step 2:  Student Application

If you are only applying to Bishop Foley Catholic High school, complete the Online Bishop Foley Catholic Application. Or if you are applying to more than one Metro-Detroit Catholic high school, submit the Online Common Application.

Step 3:  Teacher Recommendation

This is a request that is sent through the online application.

Step 4:  Report Cards, Test Scores, Accommodations

This is done through an upload via the online application. Parents need to sign the electronic release form and grade school uploads the items.

Step 5:  In-person Meeting at Foley

This face-to-face meeting at Foley can be completed during a VIP visit, interview, tour, etc. Schedule a VIP visit now or schedule a tour, by contacting the Admissions Director, Katie Crombe at 248-658-2038 or katiecrombe@bishopfoley.org
