The main goal of the board is to assist school administration in carrying out the mission of Bishop Foley Catholic High School. The School Board consists of a Board of Trustees, an Executive Board and six advisory sub-committees. Each committee contains a member of the High School Administrative Team, a Board of Education Trustee, High School staff and parents. The following sub-committees meet during the school year to discuss progress towards established goals and present recommendations to the Executive Board.
Committee goals focus on determination academic areas where growth is needed. Academic Integrity works collectively to suggest plans for improvement or modification.
The Athletic committee works in conjunction with At-Large members and Administration on various improvements to the athletic facilities. This group also works with the Athletic Director in examining athletic needs to promote a quality program and facility.
The Building and Grounds committee works collaboratively with school administration to generate, update, and advise on a central list of improvement projects. They also work closely with the Dad’s Club to ensure completion of selected projects.
The Catholic Identity committee works with the school administration to ensure that we remain an undeniably Catholic institution.
The Finance committee serves to analyze school financial information and make recommendations to the school administration.
The Marketing committee collaborates with the Advancement department to ensure Foley has consistent branding.
