Giving Opportunities

Bishop Foley Catholic is committed to providing students with a quality, yet affordable education. We are able to do this through the help and support of our generous contributors.

There are several opportunities for you to make a positive impact on the school and help continue the Foley tradition for many years to come. There are four primary ways you can make a contribution to the school: the Annual Fund, Saints Joachim & Anne Society, Pave the Way, and Tuition Angel.

Besides the options listed above, there are a variety of ways that your gift can make a positive impact for BFC students. Gifts by cash, check and credit card allow Bishop Foley Catholic to address its needs immediately. All contributions to Bishop Foley Catholic are tax deductible. The school's fiscal year ends on June 30. All gifts received by that date will be acknowledge in that year's Annual Report.

In-Kind Gifts

Items for special events, services, and equipment are always welcome and appreciated. In-kind gifts are recognized in the school's annual report. For more details, please contact Michele Colosi at 248-658-2049 or colosi@bishopfoley.org.

Online Giving

This is a quick and convenient way to show your support for the students at Bishop Foley Catholic. Consider donating towards our Annual Fund, Sts. Joachim and Anne Society, or the Tuition Angel.

Matching Gifts

Many companies and/or foundations will match the value of a charitable gift made by employees, spouses, board members, and retirees. Please check with your employer for more information and necessary forms needed to match your donation to BFC.

Reunion Gifts

If your class is celebrating a milestone reunion, consider a gift to BFC. Gifts combined with other classmates can make a positive difference for future generations of students.

Bequests/Life Insurance

Requests can be made through your will and may include a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate. You also can name Bishop Foley Catholic High School as the beneficiary to either all or a portion of an insurance policy.

Grants/Scholarships

Several grant and scholarship programs are designed to help children attend BFC that might not have otherwise had the resources to do so. Contributions can be made to the general scholarship fund, Bishop Foley/Holy Family Connection Scholarship, Leadership Scholarship Fund, or Performing Arts Scholarship. For a complete list of grants and scholarships the school provides, visit the Affording BFC web page.
