Athletic Summer Camps

Baseball Camp

The Bishop Foley Catholic Baseball Camp is designed to improve the baseball skills of each participant through teaching, learning, drills and competition. Kids will be divided into groups to work on every aspect of baseball with the varsity coaching staff and varsity baseball players at the beginning of each day. We will end each day with some competitions that will emphasize teamwork and fun.

Note: Please make sure students have proper baseball attire/equipment (glove, cleats, hat, bat, etc.) — we will have bats available to use if needed.

Boys Basketball Camp

The BFC Boys Basketball staff and players will host a three-day youth camp for grades 4–9. Led by boys basketball coach and former college player Mike Oravetz, campers will have exposure to a variety of drills and competition that will emphasize all aspects of basketball. Campers will be split up by age and skill level. Group stations will be utilized to focus on skill development and fundamentals where campers can compete against themselves and one another. Each day will end with scrimmaging, where the campers can put the skills they learned to the test! All campers will be provided a T-shirt at the conclusion of the camp. Note: Please make sure campers have proper attire (shirt, shorts, gym shoes) and bring water bottles.

Volleyball Camp — Elite

The Bishop Foley Catholic Volleyball Camp is designed to enhance and develop the skill level of each athlete while building confidence in the players’ abilities. In the Elite Camp, we will focus on all aspects of the game to grow the athletes in game IQ, as well as the physical skill. The camp is led by current BFC Varsity Volleyball Coach and BFC alumna Colleen Szakacs with the help of current BFC varsity athletes and coaches.

Note: Please make sure athletes wear proper volleyball attire, such as shorts or spandex, a T-shirt, knee pads and proper athletic footwear. Please also make sure to bring a water bottle. If you believe that your child is not quite ready to attend the Elite Camp and you may want to go to the Youth Camp instead, please contact Coach Szakacs at volleyball@bishopfoley.org before registering.

Boys Lacrosse — Elite Camp

The BFC Lacrosse Camp is designed to improve skill level, enhance player development and build confidence in players’ abilities. With the focus on all aspects of lacrosse, training groups are established based on camper’s age/grade level. The Elite Camp is intended for players with some experience playing lacrosse and teaches advanced stick skills and lacrosse concepts for those that want to take their game to the next level. Camp will be led by Coach John DeLong, who is entering his second year at BFC, as well as some of Foley’s most talented lacrosse alumni.

Girls Basketball — Elite Camp

Cheer Camp

Join the Bishop Foley Catholic Cheer Team to learn jumps, tumbling, cheers, stunting and more! This is a great camp for cheerleaders of all levels who want to work on their fundamentals and to cheer during the first half of the first Bishop Foley home football game on Thursday, August 29 at 7:00 PM. The camp will be led by Varsity Cheer Coach Angela Panetta, who has over 15 years of cheer and gymnastics coaching experience.
