Colleges and Careers

Approximately 99% of Foley graduates go on to attend college. Students are accepted into top universities and private colleges in the country and local community colleges. BFC graduates also earn millions in college scholarship monies. The class of 2018 earned more than $8.1 million worth of scholarships paid over four years.

College Resources

The counseling department is committed to providing students with several opportunities to learn about their higher education options they have after graduation. Several recruiters from Michigan colleges and universities regularly come to BFC to make presentations throughout the year. Students have the ability to ask questions, obtain admissions brochures, and in some cases, apply on the spot.

Counseling staff also use Big Future, a college website that can help aide in the college decision making process. US News & Report Best Colleges Rankings is a good resource to find out the best colleges.

Career Resources

The Counseling Center uses multiple career and college resources throughout a student's entire academic journey at Foley. Interest inventories are available to evaluate a student's possible future career options. ONET is a career website that can be used to research interests.
