The State of Michigan enacted legislation that permits students in private schools to benefit from Dual Enrollment. Dual Enrollment allows students in grades 9 - 12 to take courses at Michigan public or private colleges or universities. If the student qualifies, tuition, fees, and books are paid for by the State of Michigan. Any portion not covered by the State of Michigan is the responsibility of the student’s family.
Bishop Foley Catholic High School has two opportunities available to high school students: Dual Enrollment through University of Detroit Mercy in our onsite Engineering courses and offsite at an approved college or university.
Because of the restrictions and deadlines involved, it is very important that students be in contact with the Counseling office regarding Dual Enrollment. For further information please visit the State of Michigan Dual Enrollment web page.
