Attention Seniors: If you painted a parking spot this year, it must be repainted by this Saturday, May 3rd. If you would like to have your spot painted by the school, please bring $40 to the Main Office in an envelope with your name and parking spot noted on it sometime before Saturday. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Madsen.

Guest forms for prom are due by 3pm today! Absolutely NO late forms will be accepted. Once Mr. Madsen receives a properly completed guest form, you will get an email from him that it has been received.

Congratulations to 4 of our Music Dept. singers who recently participated in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) State Solo & Ensemble festival on April 12th. Both Seniors, Maddie Agrusso & Alecia Slowinski, earned a Division 1 rating, the highest possible rating. Junior, Silvia Trivelloni, and Sophomore, Regan Weir, both earned Division 2 ratings for their performance, which is the second highest rating. We're so proud of you girls—excellent job!!

The Art show and Performing Arts concert is on Tuesday May 6! The Art show starts at 5 pm and the concert starts at 7 pm. You are welcome and encouraged to come to both. There will be all different types of art presented in the media center and instrumental and vocal music and dance on stage. The theme for the concert is music from animated productions. Come celebrate Spring!

Our last PASS session will be this afternoon in the Media Center. The session will run from 2:55-4:00 pm.

Next week, there will be an independent study session in Lab 4 of the Media Center on Monday and Thursday from 2:55-3:30 pm.



Sports Announcements for Thursday, May 1, 2025

Last night the Varsity Tennis team took on their first league match against Riverview Gabriel Richard sweeping all courts in straight sets to win 8-0. Starting at 1 singles, Maddie Demura won 6-4, 6-1 with her dominating serve. At 2 singles Amelia Morgulec played a controlled game coming to the net for point ending volleys to win 6-2, 6-3. At 3 singles Bridget Gilbert was serving up bagels winning 6-0, 6-0. Finally filling in at 4 singles last minute Jasmine Flood put forth maximum effort to win 6-2, 6-2. In doubles action the 1 doubles team of Elysia Youkhanna and Kennedy Cerne had strong net play and great movement on the court to win 6-2, 6-4. At 2 doubles Sophia Kozadinos and Grace Leong won 6-3, 6-4 with great communication and strong volleys. Rachel Pryjma and Leah McCulloch played hard points to win 6-4, 6-2 at 3 doubles. Finally the 4 doubles team of Charlotte Grems and Sophia Moceri were aggressive at net to take the win 6-3, 6-1. Great Job ladies.

JV tennis took on a tough Royal Oak High School team last night. Emmerson Arakelian won her singles match 8-4, Tori Stepanski and Monica Misiuk won their doubles match 8-4, Lauren Liles and Addie Nader won their doubles match 8-5 and Aubry Sinclaire and Emmerson Arakelian won their doubles match 8-0. Also winning in exhibition doubles were Tori Stepanski and Abby Krawczak, Lauren Liles and Maddie Mazaway and Lauren Liles and Monica Misiuk and Addi Nader. Congratulations on the well played tennis ladies.

Good luck to the Varsity Softball team who host Notre Dame Academy at 4:00 and 5:30pm for a double header

Good luck to the Tennis program who both have a match tonight. The Varsity team plays Franklin Jewish Academy at 4pm and the JV tennis team travels to Regina to play at 4pm..

Good luck to the Girls Varsity soccer team as they travel to Oakland Christian to play at 4:30pm.
