Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. Sports Announcements Monday, February 26, 2024


Both Boys and Girls Bowling Teams had a strike of success taking 1st place at the Catholic League Championships! Jacey Thibodeau and Greg Altman are All-Catholic, Luke Kavanaugh and Erica Surratt are All-League, and Theresa Schudt and Greg Altman are All-Academic.

The Lady Ventures rolled on to take first place at Regionals, and the Boys team spared-up to be Regional Runner-ups, securing them both spots at States this weekend. Additionally, Theresa Schudt won 6th place, Jacey Thibodeau won 2nd place, Nolan Grems won 3rd place, Maddy Kubacki won 5th place, and Greg Altman won 2nd to individually advance them to States. Congratulations and Venture On!! Bowling practice today is optional for those who did not make it to States.

Congratulations to the BFC United Hockey team having won Regionals over midwinter break!

Congratulations to Mitch Brewer who placed 3rd in Regionals in the Individual Regional Wrestling meet. He will be wrestling on Friday at Ford Field for States.

The next Cathletes meeting will take place on Wednesday February 28th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. We will be planning for our upcoming Pickleball Tournament and getting volunteers for a visit to St. Lawrence in March. Please contact Coach Barnes or Mr. McCormick if you have any questions.

There will be a Girls Softball workout tomorrow after school outside.

Good Luck to the Boys Basketball team who start the first round of Districts today.
