Being an athlete can be very stressful at times. The expectation to consistently perform at a high level creates anxiety and can often lead to burnout when playing a sport. This can also directly relate to performing poorly in school. This is why it is even more essential to make your mental health a priority if you are an athlete. Tools like preparation and balance are key. If you are ever struggling, look to your teammates, or even the professionals. Lots of pros speak up about the pressure of playing a sport, and how to deal with it.

We are still looking for one Freshmen team and one Junior team to participate in the student volleyball game at the pep rally this Friday. Please complete the form today by 3PM.
There is an informational Tennis meeting today after school in Room 124 at 3PM. Please plan on attending if you want to play tennis. See Miss Hughes if you cannot make it or have any questions.
There will be a softball meeting this Thursday after school in the cafeteria for anyone interested in playing softball this season. If you can’t make it or have any questions feel free to contact Ayla Barnes for more information.
