Our mental health topic this week is suicide prevention. One of the most heartbreaking things that can ever hit a community is suicide. According to the American Psychological Association, more than 20% of teens have seriously contemplated suicide. There are ways to help people who are struggling. If you or someone you know is hurting themselves or thinking about it, please talk to a trusted adult. It could save their life

Thank you to everyone participating in the Walk for Mental Health today. Join us on the track right after school today to walk together, encourage one another and enjoy some treats.

Attention craft club members. The next few craft club meetings will be held in order to make prayer beads for Mr. Petty. If you would like to join us to create this wonderful gift, please email Anna Takach or Ayla Barnes for more information. Materials for this project will be provided

Used in a sentence as an adjective - ““The melioristic (MEAL-yuh-riztic) mindset of the team members contributed to their success.” - Mrs. Morris
