All students: Regular uniform starts next Monday, October 2nd.

Do you feel frustrated getting started on homework? Did you understand how to do the work in class, but once you get home, have questions on how to complete the assignment? If you answered yes, then NHS homework help is here to resolve your problem! This Thursday, September 28th, NHS students will be available in Lab 4 of the Media Center from 2:55-3:30 pm to help out with homework. All classes, including French, Spanish, math, science, just to name a few, will have someone there to help you out. Take advantage of this free service. No need to preregister, just stop in and we'll match you up with someone who can help you make homework less challenging. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

The BFC Book Club meeting is today from 2:55 -3:30 PM. in Lab 4 of the Media Center. We will be discussing "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. All are welcome to attend.

Breena can do this! - "WE GOT SPIRIT, YES WE DO, WE GOT SPIRIT HOW ABOUT YOU?!?" Your class needs your help to earn Spirit Points for your grade! At our Fall Pep Rally, we have four class competitions that YOU can participate in. Click on the link that's in your email. We will also have a separate class challenge during Homecoming Week. Gift Card Challenge! The class that brings the most total valued gift cards (cost) will win Spirit Points. For an added bonus, every $15 gift card you bring in, your name will be entered in a drawing to pie a staff member at the Pep Rally! Please look at posters and social media for more information!

Are you interested in serving during our school Masses? Join Mrs. Baumgartner in the Chapel after school this Wednesday for a quick training on all the liturgical ministry roles.

We understand that you can get a lot of homework during the day. Remember that the point of the assignment is to help you learn. You don’t want to try to rush or cram in your studying; your short-term memory can only hold 5-9 items at a time for 20 seconds. There’s no point in cramming; it’s not healthy and you can avoid the stress if you space out your studying. Don't forget to save the date! On Wednesday, October 11 after the 1:15 dismissal we’ll be walking together to raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and to highlight our commitment to mental health.

Wednesday Word of the Week:

This week's word is brought to you by extemporaneous: Spoken or done without preparation. Off the cuff.

Sentence: Being able to speak extemporaneously, gave Ethan and Micah an advantage when they were unexpectedly called upon to share their thoughts in government class.

Worldly Wednesday
