Bishop Foley Catholic High School’s newly established Strangers No Longer chapter is building momentum through community engagement and collaboration with other local chapters. Students recently attended the “Assembly for Hope: Building a Welcoming Future for Michigan” at the Detroit Union Carpenters and Millwrights Skilled Training Center, connecting with immigrants, advocates and fellow student leaders while learning more about the five-plank platform. Guided by the Catholic call to welcome and integrate immigrants into society, the chapter continues to find new ways to put faith into action through advocacy, networking and community involvement. Bishop Foley Catholic High School is pleased to announce Dr. Cormac Lynn as its next Principal. A respected leader in Catholic education with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Lynn most recently served as Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Saginaw and previously led St. Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake as Principal and Head of School. His extensive background in academic leadership, strategic planning and faith formation, combined with his passion for developing students as disciples of Christ, makes him an exceptional addition to the Bishop Foley Catholic community. The school looks forward to welcoming Dr. Lynn and introducing him to students, families, alumni, faculty, staff and supporters in the months ahead.
