Snowball Tickets will be on sale starting Monday, 2-5, through Thursday, 2-8 after school only. Tickets cost $15 each, $30 per couple. Students are allowed to only bring one guest! Please bring exact change to help move the line along. All students are welcome to attend the dance. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Jagow in room 230. Guest forms are due on Wednesday, February 7th by 3:00pm…NO EXCEPTIONS!! If you’ve received an email from Mr. Madsen, your guest form has been received and approved.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: An admissions representative from Saginaw Valley State University will be visiting BFC on Monday, February 5th during 6th hour. Please contact your school counselor to sign up to attend the presentation.

Seniors. This is your last weekend to submit a senior quote. If you do not submit one by the deadline, your senior quote will default to "Go Ventures!". Also this is the last week for your parents to get a page in the yearbook dedicated to you. Tell them to check their email and the newsletter for more info. So remember…submit your senior quotes and have your parents buy your senior ads! LAST CHANCE!!

Best wishes to Ethan Irimescu and Olivia Kromer, who will represent Bishop Foley as they compete in the 3rd Detroit Catholic Forensics League Tournament tomorrow morning at U of D Jesuit High School. This tournament is the 1/2 way point of the season. On Monday, listen for the results during announcements!

The class winners of the Spirit Dress Down Day themes from this week are the Freshmen. In 2nd place, the Seniors only trailing behind by 5%. It was a marginal amount between the difference of 3rd and 4th place, but the Sophomores were able to secure 3rd and Juniors in 4th.

Thank you to all who donated to the NHS Charity Drive this week. We are blessed to see so much giving during Catholic Schools Week and it's a great reminder to be thankful for what we have. The winner of this event, receiving not only Spirit Points, but a donut party is the SENIORS!

Sports Announcements Friday, February 2, 2024

BFC United Boys Varsity Hockey team has a home game tonight at John Lindell Ice Arena against Southgate High School. This game has been designated as Hockey Fights Cancer Night, and all gate proceeds and donations will go to The American Cancer Society. The team will also be honoring one of our BFC graduates & team alumni, Steven Jacques, who is currently battling cancer. He will drop the ceremonial first puck at center ice prior to the start of the game. Dr. Daniels, and the BFC choir and prep band will be performing the national anthem, and play throughout the game. Come out and support the BFC United Varsity Hockey team, and more information can be found on bfcathletics.com and team social media accounts.

The next meeting for Catholic Athletes for Christ will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. We will be working on our upcoming Pickle Ball event. All are welcome to join us, including any students who wish to become involved in Cathletes. Please see Coach Barnes or Mr. McCormick if you have any questions.
