Tonight's the night! The Music Dept. is hosting a Halloween-themed Coffee House from 6:30-8:30pm in the pit. Let our student performers dazzle you, and enjoy your favorite drinks and baked goods. Our coffee house is the perfect place to slow down, warm up, and enjoy the cozy feeling of Fall! We hope to see you there!

Do you like to dress up? You may be interested in helping with Safe Halloween! This year, the National Honor Society will be hosting Safe Halloween on Friday, October 30th, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. This fun-filled event makes sure that kids are able to Trick-or-Treat safely through the Bishop Foley hallways, as well as play some games, color, enjoy cider and donuts, and venture through a haunted hallway along the way. Possible ways to participate are to be a part of the haunted hallway, be part of a group that hosts a themed door or general help with the coloring and games. If you are interested in making sure this night is a success, see the QR code posted outside of Ms. Hughes' room to figure out the different ways you can make a contribution. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, and we hope to see you there.

Candy Collection for Safe Halloween is taking place every day before school - from 7:30am - 7:50am in the cafeteria from now until Tuesday, October 27th. This collection is for spirit points, so make sure to bring as much candy as you can to help your grade's chances of getting the day off for Prom. NHS members are required to bring one bag but can also earn spirit points for any extra bags of candy they bring beyond what is required of them. As it stands now the Juniors are in the lead, but there is still time for your grade to take the crown! NHS members thank you for supporting this event!

The Page turners are meeting today from 3:00-3:45 in lab 4 of the media center. Come join us to talk about our October book, "Asylum" by Madeleine Roux. There will also be food and drinks.

Sports Announcements for Friday, October 23, 2026

Yesterday the United Ventures Swim Team took on the Rams of Lamphere in our annual Pink Out Meet. It was a fun meet, winning 120-51, bringing our record to 11-8, and helping to raise more than $1100 for charity. We took 1st in 9 of 12 events, with 1st and 2nd in 8 of 12 events. Great job ladies!

Coach Barnes wants to congratulate and thank all of the soccer players, especially the seniors, on a fantastic season. You will look back one day and be proud to make the soccer program respected again. Thank you and Go Ventures.

Good luck to the Cross Country team who meet today at Willow MetroPark at 3pm for the CHSL Championships.

Good luck to the BFC Football who play their last home game tonight vs. Liggett. Game time is 7:00pm and the theme is Frat vs. Sorority, so dress the theme and BE LOUD! Hope to see you all there to cheering on our Ventures!
