HOMECOMING IS NEXT WEEK AND WE WANT TO SEE YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT. YOUR GRADE NEEDS YOU
Spirit Day starts next Monday, September 16th. Remember that the most spirited award is up for grabs for each grade level. Students of each grade vote on the winner for their class. The winner is awarded a certificate and a small prize. Monday's theme is Neon Day. Students are encouraged to wear bright, neon colors in their clothing and accessories. If you do not dress as specified by the theme, you are to be in regular uniform!
Next Friday is our school-wide pep assembly, during which we will play some fun games that count toward the Spirit Point class totals. Ms. Jagow has sent out a Google Form to your email. Please fill out the form if you are interested in participating by the end of the school day on Monday, September 16th.
Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Guest forms for Homecoming are available in the Main Office. Forms are due no later than 3pm on September 18th.
The BFC Concert Band is looking for bass players to join the band. If you play bass guitar, tuba, trombone, baritone, or cello, please see Dr. Daniels regarding opportunities we may have for you in Band Club!
The first Culinary Club Meeting will take place this Monday September 16th from 3-3:45 pm in the kitchen. Any student interested is welcome. RSVP by emailing Miss Hughes by Homeroom on Monday the 16th.
The first Student Ambassador meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 17 at 3:00 PM in the Media Center. All new and returning members of the program are invited to attend. Please see the email sent out by Mr. Tyle on September 11 for more information and contact him if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
Do you like to read for fun? Do you like to talk to others about the books you've read? If you answered "yes" to both of these questions, then the BFC Book Club is for you. Join us in Lab 4 of the Media on Thursday, September 19th from 7:20-7:45 am. Bring, or be prepared to share the book you enjoyed reading this summer. We'll discuss our summer reads, and select a book to read and discuss in October. Those who RSVP to Mrs. Osborn, will also enjoy some breakfast treats. Grab that book, grab a friend and join us for breakfast and lively discussion.
