Looking for service hours? Henry Ford Health is looking for 8 volunteers to help out at a picnic in Clawson park this Saturday from 10:30am- 3:00pm. The picnic is being held to honor individuals who have survived brain cancer. Students will be needed to help serve food and clean up after the event. If you are interested, please let Mrs. Baumgartner know by noon on Friday.

Attention 10-12 grade students, Guest forms for Homecoming are available in the Main Office. Forms are due no later than 3pm on September 18th.

Have you heard about PASS? PASS is Peer Academic Support System, formerly known as Homework Help. This will be taking place, starting THIS Thursday, September 12th from 2:55-3:30 in the Media Center. NHS students will be available to assist you with your homework, classwork, test corrections or to provide study suggestions. Get a jump start on your homework or preparing for a test or quiz. No registration is needed, it's free and you're more likely to pass if you go to PASS. Any questions, please see Mrs. Osborn in Lab 4 of the Media Center.

NHS students who went through tutoring training this week or who tutored last year are encouraged to check your email for signing up for PASS tutoring after announcements.




Sports Announcements for Friday, Sept 6, 2024

The United Ventures went to Avondale and defeated the Yellowjackets 125-45 to start the season out 1-0. Freshman Avery Wood qualified for Oakland County meet in the 100 breaststroke in her first meet! Congratulations Avery!

There were several top 3 finishes all meet long. Sophia Moceri took 1st and Joscelyn Ryan 2nd in the 200 Freestyle.

Kate Swonder was 1st and Vanessa Hesse took 2nd in the 200 Individual Medley.

Avery Wood took 1st and Ella Daly 2nd in the 50 Freestyle.

Lily Roma took 1st in Diving.

Kate Swonder took 1st and Lorena Fabian 2nd in the 100 butterfly

Sophia Moceri took 1st and Natalie Lanfear 2nd in the 100 Freestyle

Grace Malkowski was 2nd and Joscelyn Ryan 3rd in the 500 Freestyle

Vanessa Hesse took 1st and Sophia Kozadinos 3rd in the 100 backstroke

Avery Wood took 1st, Lorena Ledesma Fabian, and Ella Daly took 1, 2, and 3 in the 100 breaststroke.

Medley Relay Team of Vanessa, Avery, Kate, and Ella took 1st, with Sophia, Lorena, Grace, and Lily taking 3rd in the 200 medley relay

The 200 freestyle Relay team of Sophia, Ella, Natalie, and Lorena took 1st and the team of Avery, Samantha Singler, Lily, and Joscelyn took 3rd.

The 400 Free relay team of Vanessa, Kate, Natalie, and Sophia took 1st, with Sophia, Joscelyn, Sam, and Grace took 2nd.

Overall it was a great meet winning 125-45. Next up with Lamphere and Henry Ford at Henry Ford II on Thursday 9/12 starting at 6pm.
