New recycling bins have been placed in the Cafeteria! It’s important to know the difference between returnables and recyclables. The Green bins are for returnables - such as pop bottles. Recyclables such as water and gatorade bottles go in the red bins. Please follow the labels on the bins and help us protect our environment by recycling!

Sports Announcements for Friday, September 5, 2025

Congrats to the Varsity Boys soccer team, who won 6-4 yesterday over Austin Catholic. Carmello led scoring with 2 goals, Max, Isaac, Nolan and Garett all scored a goal each, with Nolan scoring his first career goal!

BFC Cross country competed at the Oakland Christian Small School invitational yesterday. The girls ran well with Elle Barnes and Lorelai Montano running their season best. In the boys race, the boys finished 8th as a team and had season best efforts from Brad Dugan, Luke Kavanaugh, and Isaac Kerkmaz. Their next competition is next Wednesday at Memorial Park for the CHSL meet #1. Bishop Foley Cross Country is looking for more athletes to join both our girls and boys teams. If you like to run, if you like to compete, if you want to get better and improve your other athletic activities, come join the team. Please see Coach Lewis for more info.

Yesterday the United Swim and Dive team went to Avondale to take on the Yellowjackets, winning the meet 131-37. There were a lot of great swims, highlighted by another county cut in the 50 free for Avery Wood. Next up is our rivalry with Lamphere on Tuesday 9/9 at Lamphere at 6pm.

Good luck to the Freshman and JV Volleyball team, who play tomorrow at Chelsea at 8am.

Good luck to the Varsity Football team, who play at Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart tomorrow at 3pm.
