Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. The Foley Book Club meets Today from 2:55-3:30 in Lab 4 of the Media Center. Bring the book you enjoyed reading the most over summer vacation and join us for snacks and a book talk If you have any questions, please speak with seniors, Ayla Barnes or Eleanor Takash. Book club is open to all students and staff! We look forward to seeing you on the 28th.

Are you interested in making videos, live streams and podcasts for the student body? Did you love the live announcements and lunch video's last year? The broadcast club is back and better than ever. Come by the first informational meeting and learn about the club. The meeting will be this Thursday 8/31 at 7:30 AM in room 122. See Miss Hughes with any questions.

Admission representatives from Ave Maria University in Florida will be visiting BFC today during lunches. Stop by their table to learn about what their school has to offer.

**ATTENTION FRESHMEN** - Student Council is in need of four dedicated student leaders to make an impact here at Bishop Foley and to the community as well. Students get to collaborate with other Student Council members to help share ideas and interests for school-wide activities such as Homecoming, Winter Wish Week, Catholic Schools Week, Venturelympics, dances, community projects, fundraising and many more! Think you would be a good fit? Applications will be available for pick up today in the main office until this Thursday. Sports Announcements for Monday, August 28, 2023

The Varsity football team lost to Pontiac in their home opener last Friday. Mason Kanar rushed for 196 yards and Tad Dobek threw for 2 TD's. The defense was led by Aidan Nicol and Mitch Brewer. The boys head to Pershing on Thursday for a 5 O'clock game.

Attention girls: If you are playing a fall sport, it is ok to put your bags in the locker room. All other personal items (including your lunch) MUST go in your personal locker. When we have visitors to our school, we want our school to look clean and professional. Thanks.
