Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. In addition to the traditional required high school classes, Foley includes additional course offerings in STEM, performing/visual arts, foreign language, theology, and more.

On Saturday, senior Ethan Irimescu and sophomore Olivia Kromer represented Bishop Foley in the Detroit Catholic Forensics League tournament at University of Detroit Jesuit. Both students did well. Ethan earned 3rd place in extemporaneous speaking. Oliva earned first place in Oral Interpretation of Literature. This is a personal best for Olivia. Congratulations to both team members!

For the 5th consecutive year, 100% of the forensics team members have earned the right to participate in the National Qualifying tournament, which will be held here at Bishop Foley, on Saturday, March 9th. The top 4 students in each category will go on to represent the Detroit Catholic Forensics League at the National Catholic Forensics League tournament, in Chicago, over Memorial Day weekend. The forensics teams next tournament will be this coming Saturday at Mercy High School.

Snowball Tickets will be on sale starting today through Thursday, 2-8. Ticket sales will be taking place after school only! Tickets cost $15 each, $30 per couple. Students are allowed to only bring one guest! Please bring exact change to help move the line along. All students are welcome to attend the dance. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Jagow in room 230. Guest forms are due this Wednesday, February 7th by 3:00pm…NO EXCEPTIONS!! If you’ve received an email from Mr. Madsen, your guest form has been received and approved.



Sports Announcements Monday, February 5, 2024

The next meeting for Catholic Athletes for Christ will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. We will be working on our upcoming Pickle Ball event. All are welcome to join us, including any students who wish to become involved in Cathletes. Please see Coach Barnes or Mr. McCormick if you have any questions.
