On Saturday, the BFC forensics team competed in their first tournament of the season at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Our team finished strong. Senior Ethan Irimescu earned 1st place in extemporaneous speaking, while sophomore Olivia Krommer earned 2nd place in Oral Interpretation of Literature and fellow sophomore Roslyn Lass, in her first competition ever, earned 3rd place, also in Oral Interpretation of Literature. Congratulations to all team members who competed! Our next tournament is this coming Saturday at Marian High School. After announcements would all team members report to Lab 4 to pick up their critique sheets.

After school homework help will take place in Lab 4 of the Media Center tomorrow and Thursday, from 2:55-3:30. Help is available in all content areas. We're in the 3rd week of the 3rd card marking, so if you're encountering confusing concepts, now is the time to get some extra support.

The BFC Snowball Dance will be on Saturday, February 10th from 8pm-11pm. The theme this year is Winter Wonderland. As you are shopping for your formal attire, please be sure you are adhering to the BFC Dance and Special Event Dress Code. You received this in an email back in September and will receive another email soon. Posters are also displayed around school. If you show up to the dance dressed inappropriately, you will be asked to fix it or will be denied entry to the dance with no refund. If you are planning on bringing a guest, guest forms are now available in the main office.
