Academics 

Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. In addition to the traditional required high school classes, Foley includes additional course offerings in STEM, performing/visual arts, foreign language, theology, and more.

On Saturday, our forensics team had a great day of competition, at Marian High School. In the category of Oral Interpretation of Literature, Rosalyn Lass earned 3rd place and Olivia Kromer earned 2nd place. Micah Graetttinger, earned a personal best of 3rd place in Extemporaneous speaking. Micah, Olivia and Roslyn are now qualified to compete at the National Qualification tournament, which will be held here at Bishop Foley on Saturday, March 9th. The national tournament will take place over Memorial Day weekend in Chicago. Our team will be competing, again, this Saturday at University of Detroit Jesuit High School We know you'll speak well at that tournament!

The BFC Snowball Dance will be on Saturday, February 10th from 8pm-11pm. The theme this year is Winter Wonderland. If you are planning on bringing a guest, guest forms are now available in the main office. Guest forms are due on Wednesday, February 7th by 3:00pm…NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Sports Announcements Monday, January 29, 2024

Congratulations to the Girls JV and Varsity Basketball teams, who both won versus Shrine on Friday! The teams travel to Lutheran Northwest tonight. JV plays at 5:30 and Varsity plays at 7pm. Thank you also to all who supported the Mary’s Mantle fundraiser which was a huge success- raising over $6,000 for those in need.

Tomorrow the Boys Basketball Team play Shrine at home. Everyone be there and be Loud!

The next meeting for Catholic Athletes for Christ will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. We will be working on our upcoming Pickle Ball event. All are welcome to join us, including any students who wish to become involved in Cathletes. Please see Coach Barnes or Mr. McCormick if you have any questions.
