Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. Over the weekend, Forensics Teams Members Joscelyn Ryan and Micah Graettinger competed in the 3rd Detroit Catholic Forensics League tournament of the season. Joscelyn earned 3rd place in Oral Interpretation of Literature. Micah earned 5th place in Extemporaneous speaking. Congratulations to both for making BFC proud! Team members will be competing again this coming Saturday at Mercy High School. After announcements, will Joscelyn, Micah, Elliot McCallum, and Victor Sanchez please see Mrs. Osborn in Lab 4.

Who doesn't love Christmas? I know there are some of you but for the rest of us, there is a way to get in the Christmas spirit this weekend. The Performing Arts Department is presenting White Christmas this weekend at Lamphere High School. Curtain is 7 pm both nights and tickets are $10 for students. We hope to see you there!

New bought children's books are being collected in the morning before school this week. Bring as many as you can! If you bring 3 or more new books you can get candy from NHS. Donations are going to the Children's Hospital in Detroit. If you have any questions please contact Sophia Moceri or the NHS board.

This month, the BFC Book Club will be reading THE INHERITANCE GAMES by Jennifer Lynne Barnes. We will be meeting to discuss this book on Thursday, March 27th. Check the tv monitors for more details regarding the meeting.

PASS will be taking place in the media center this afternoon from 2:55-3:30 pm. All are welcome to attend. It's a great time to get a jump start on homework, complete test corrections or review notes with others. Remember, the end of the 3rd card marking is Friday, March 14th!

Sports Announcements for March, March 3, 2025

Congratulations to Nolan Grems for placing 17th in the state, having a high game of 234, and bowling an impressive 201 average throughout the tournament! A big shout-out also to Jacey Thibodeau for qualifying in first place with the highest series across all divisions of state bowlers. Jacey also bowled a high game of 289, averaged 232, and finished 4th overall. Well done to both!

All students interested in playing women's tennis in the Spring, there is a Mandatory Meeting after school tomorrow at 3PM in room 124.

Good luck to the Varsity Girls Basketball team who start district play tonight. They play at Shrine vs Detroit Community Schools @ 5:30pm.
