Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. On Saturday, Ethan Iremscu and Micah Graettinger earned 1st and 3rd places respectively in extemporaneous speaking at the 5th Detroit Catholic Forensics League Tournament, held at Orchard Lake St. Mary's. Congratulations gentlemen! This was our last regular tournament. On Saturday, BFC will host the National Qualifying tournament for those who are trying to earn a chance to compete in Chicago over Memorial Day weekend.

Venturelympics is an all day competition where students get a chance to participate in different events to earn Spirit Points for their class. Student Council members work diligently to make sure that all students in their class have a chance to participate in at least two events of their choice. Please click on the link being sent to your email with your event preferences by Friday, March 8th.

Join Awake, BFC's own Rosary group, in the Chapel this Wednesday morning at 7:20am to start the day in prayer!

The Moms’ Club will be in the cafeteria on Thursday and Friday during lunch this week selling pre orders of green bagels for St. Patrick’s Day. The cost is $1 for a plain or salt bagel and $2 for a bagel with cream cheese and is limited to only 1 bagel per student. Only cash bills for payment, no change please! Bagels will be delivered during homeroom on Friday, March 15th and CANNOT be purchased the day of.



Sports Announcements Monday, March 4, 2024

Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Bowling teams who competed in states this past weekend. The Girls team was victorious, taking top honors in the State of Michigan and the the Boys team placed 12th in Michigan. Greg Altman, Nolan Grems, Jacey Thibodeau, Maddie Kubacki and Theresa Schudt qualified for individual State competition on Saturday. Jacey Thibodeau made it to the Final round, placing 6th in the State for all girls bowlers! Congratulations again to the Bowling teams for a successful season!

Good luck to the Girls Varsity Basketball team who play in the first run of Districts tonight at 7pm vs Shrine at home.
