Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. Tennis had a close match but lost to Clarkston Everest 3-5 in yesterday's match. Singles players were hungry with dominating wins in straight sets at 2nd, 3rd and 4th singles. Hadyn Gordon won 6-1, 6-2; Rachel Greco grabbed a bagel and a breadstick winning 6-0, 6-1, and Mara Gutierrez won with double breadsticks 6-1,6-1. Doubles players had close matches, with 2 doubles and 4 doubles teams in close tiebreakers for the first set. See them in action for their next home match Tuesday 4PM against Frankel Jewish Academy at Halmich Park.

Yesterday Track competed in the first of three league meets and had a great day. There were 11 schools competing and Foley girls scored 58 points and finished in 4th place.

Congratulations to the Foley boys who scored 124 points and won the meet!

Next meet will be tomorrow at the Whitmore Lake Invitational!

The girls lacrosse team has a game today against Liggett at 4:00pm. The game will be held at University Liggett School.

The girls lacrosse team has another game tomorrow against Divine Child. Game time is 9:00am and is at Academy of the Sacred Heart.

Tonight the varsity softball team travels to Our Lady of the Lakes in hopes to continue their win streak. Game times are 4:30 and 6.

Come to Memorial Park for a show! Your foley boys are playing our rivals west of Woodward at 4:30 and 6.

The JV softball team travels to Lamphere for a 4:30 game.

The JV tennis team has a match at Royal Oak High School at 4.

Girls Flag Football has a 1 PM practice this Sunday in preparation for their big game at Ford Field on May 7.

Calling all Ventures — bring your black and gold and showcase your school pride at Venture Hype Night on Thursday, April 27! We have four home games that evening, including baseball, soccer and lacrosse against Shrine. Current students who register to attend in advance will receive a voucher for free pizza and a beverage, as well as the chance to win several awesome prizes, including a free dress-down day, lunch vouchers and Visa gift cards. You must be present at halftime during the lacrosse game that night to win. Be on the lookout for an email from Mr. Tyle to register, and contact Mr. Tyle or Mr. Maltese for more information.
