Academics 

Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. In addition to the traditional required high school classes, Foley includes additional course offerings in STEM, performing/visual arts, foreign language, theology, and more.

This past weekend, the United Ventures competed one last time this season in the 2022 Catholic League Meet, finishing 7th. It was a great meet, with honors and awards won across the board. Our seniors swam their best in their final goodbye, while the freshmen excelled and showed the promise of the future.

Honors include:

Sophia Moceri placed 14th for the 200 Freestyle, earning All League honors, with Kaitlyn Graczyk and Sophia Kozadinos finishing 19th and 20th.

Kate Swonder was 13th in the 200 Individual Medley earning All League Honors

Claire Mazurkiewicz finished 17th in the 500 freestyle

In the 100 backstroke Sophia Kozadinos took 20th.

Claire Mazurkiewicz took 13th in the 100 Breaststroke, earning all league honors

The 200 Medley Relay team of Courtney, Lorena, Kate, and Julia took 7th while the team of Jade, Claire, Grace, and Alexa took 11th.

The 400 Free Relay team including Sophia Moceri and Grace Kaptur took 6th

The 200 Free Relay team including Kate Swonder and Sophia Mocceri, took 7th, and the team including Grace Kaptur, and Lilly Ruzycki took 10th.

All in all, 118 points scored, 13 ribbons for all league honors, and a 7th place finish. Congratulations on a wonderful season ladies!

The hockey team has a game tonight at St. Clair Shores Arena. Game time is at 7.
