Here is the Thursday special announcement from the Mental Health Team: Many people have a difficult time opening up to others, especially about serious topics. Everyone is different, so they may take longer to finally feel ready to open up. It’s important to focus on your feelings and not bottle them up. Finding people that you trust and confide in can give you that push to open up about deeper topics. Our counselors are always happy to chat. Remember that it’s okay to feel vulnerable, especially during times of struggle or stress. If you are interested in learning more about mental health or helping to plan activities for the school, join us at our next mental health club meeting, next Tuesday, October 8th from 3-3:30 in Mr. Swift's room. And don't forget to save October 16th for our Mental Health Walk. Grab your sneakers and your friends to support mental health and suicide prevention.
