Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. BFC super speaker, Joscelyn Ryan slayed her competition on Saturday morning as she soared to 1st place at the Detroit Catholic Forensics League National Qualifying tournament. Joscelyn will be competing in Washington DC over Memorial Day weekend, along with the top 300 students in her category. Congratulations Joscelyn!

Venutrelympics is a week away! Just a few reminders about the event. Students are to wear their class color that is assigned to them for the day.

Freshmen - Gold

Sophomore - Gray

Junior - White

Seniors - Black

Students can follow all other normal dress down attire as long as it is appropriate. No shorts are allowed since we have not started wearing summer uniforms yet. Pizza will be available for students at no cost and there will be other additional items for purchase if the student wishes. Event rosters will be shared through an email on Thursday, March 26th and posted in the hallway leading to the gym on Friday, March 27th. If you have any other questions, please reach out to your council members directly.

Tomorrow is the Red Cross Blood Drive. There is still time to sign up, as we have only filled 41 out of 75 appointments. There are a staggering 34 spots left. If you are signed up there will be a very brief 5 minute meeting after school today in Mr. Nova's room.

Attention Readers! The BFC book club will be meeting this Friday from 7:30 -7:55 am in lab 4 of the Media Center to discuss the book Rival Darling by Alexandra Moody. Even if you haven't read the book, come and join us for some lively discussion along with snacks and a chance to decide what our book selection will be for the month of April.

The Music Department is excited to announce the date of the next Coffee House Fundraiser! Join us this Friday, March 27th in the pit from 6-8pm for a variety of performances from our talented members, ranging from singers, instrumentalists and more throughout the evening. Admission is $5 per person, and concessions will include coffee, cupcakes, and other spring treats. See you there!




Sports Announcements for Tuesday, March 24, 2026

BFC Lacrosse fell to L’Ance Cruise last week, 12-4. Player highlights include Trenton Kanar w/ 2 goals and 1 assist, Eli Sofyan w/ 1 goal, Andreas Ellingson w/ 1 goal, Nate Hewson w/ 1 assist & Mike Ruzycki w/ 11 saves. The team plays again today at home at 6pm against Shrine.
