The Knights of Columbus are running their annual Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest, which is to take place in September. This is an opportunity for 8th through 12th grade Catholic students to participate in civic discourse and instill in them religious and life-affirming values. Participants will write an essay of 500-750 words on a specific topic, which this year is "The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God." Applications are in the Main Office. Please have filled forms and completed essays to the Main Office no later than September 26th to securely meet the contests September 28th deadline. Dance company will have its first meeting tomorrow at 3:30pm in the pit/stage area. No experience necessary, if you are interested in dance, come on by!
BFC's Art Club has its first & general interest meeting this Thursday, September 3rd, in Room 128 from 3-:30pm. Art club offers a variety of art activities and projects for those who are interested, as well as studio work time for students enrolled in art courses here, and opportunities to design and paint on walls around campus and in the community. Attention BFC Students; Do you like to complete, like to improve, like to run, or want to get in shape for Winter and Spring sports? If so, Cross Country is your sport this fall. BFC Cross Country is looking for more athletes to join both the girls and boys teams. It Is Not Too Late To Join! All students interested please stop by and see Coach Lewis (Room 130).
