Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. For anyone interested in being involved in the fall plays, the first Drama Club meeting is August 24 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the pit/ stage area. If you are not sure you are interested, come on by and find out all about the Drama Club. We need people on stage, backstage and tech crew. There will be snacks!

Music clubs start next week! Music Ministry meets Monday from 3-3:45, Choir Club is Tuesday and Thursday 3-3:30, and Band Club is Wednesday and Friday from 3-3:30. All clubs meet in the music room. We're excited to welcome back current members and meet lots of new faces this year! Join us for some fun, laughs, and above all, great music! See Dr. Daniels for more information.

Cross country will begin practice in coach Lewis’ room (130) at 3:30. It is not too late to join the team, anyone who may be interested in cross country is welcome to attend as well.

Do you enjoy reading and talking about what you've read? If so, the monthly Bishop Foley Book Club meeting is the right place for you. Bring the book you enjoyed reading over summer vacation and join us for snacks and a book talk on Monday, August 28th from 2:55-3:30 in Lab 4 of the Media Center. No reports or essays to write! If you have any questions, please speak with seniors, Ayla Barnes or Eleanor Takash. Book club is open to all students and staff!

Sports Announcements for Wednesday, August 23, 2023

Congratulations to our varsity boys soccer team who mercied Austin Catholic last night with 23 mins left in the second half. Congrats to Greg Altman, Dylan Barberi, Jayden Orr and Aiden Letzring as they all scored one goal yesterday. Jake Nihranz had 3 goals. And congrats to THE Micheal Droz with 1 of the 8 goals.

Come support them this Thursday as they continue their winning streak against the school west of woodward. The theme is Hawaiian.

Come Support our JV boys football team, who hosts Farmington HS @BFC at 600pm.

Goodluck to our volleyball program who travels to the Lakeshore tonight. Freshman/ JV play at 5:00pm and Varsity plays at 6:30pm.

The girls field hockey team has a game today at 4:30 at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. They play Mercy HS Good luck!
