Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. This Friday is a $2.00 Dress Down Day to Benefit the Scholarship Fund, but is also the first "Every Friday Dress Down Day" opportunity for those who wish to participate! For $100, students may begin wearing appropriate dress down clothing every Friday. Students who pay the $100 to participate in this opportunity will not need to bring in the $2 donation this Friday or for any upcoming dress-down days. Cash or check will be accepted in the main office before and after school. Please see Mrs. Morris in the main office if you have any questions.

Broadcast Club is back! For anyone interested in joining, there will be a meeting tomorrow before school at 7:30AM in Mr. Swift's Room.

There will be a Drama Club Meeting this Friday, October 11 from 3:30-4:40 pm in the pit! Open to all current and new members! There will be snacks!

Attention Seniors: Oakland University will be visiting BFC tomorrow during 7th hour. To sign up for the presentation and onsite admissions, please fill out the Google Form sent out by Mrs. Peurach. If you have any questions, see Counseling!

Do you like to hang out with your friends? Grab your friends and join us next Wednesday, October 16 for our Walk for Mental Health! We’ll be walking from 1:30 - 2:30 to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and to highlight our committment to mental health. Turn in your $20 to Mr. Swift or Mr. Lewalski by next Tuesday and you’ll get a dress down day on the day of the walk with a colored t-shirt supporting an aspect of mental health. Check out the posters or talk to Mr. Swift, Mrs. Masen, Ms. Horton or counseling for more details. Make a difference with your participation. Every voice counts.



Sports Announcements for Wednesday, Oct 9, 2024

Last Night the Swim Team traveled to Whitmore lake to take on both Greenhills and Cranbrook, dropping the meet to both schools, bringing our record to 5-4. Congratulations to Kate Swonder for getting her MHSAA state cut in the 100 Butterfly! Next up the Ventures travel to Mercy to take on the Marlins in a CHSL clash on Thursday, October 10th at 6pm.

Congratulations to the Field Hockey team for winning their Senior Night against West Bloomfield with a score of 8-1. Senior Lindsey LuMarque made 7 stops, 5 turnovers, and 2 self-starts. She’s been playing field hockey since 7th grade and plans on continuing when she goes off to college. We are forever grateful to have her as the reason our field hockey co-op team existed for the last 4 years. Congrats, Lindsey!

Good luck to the Boys Varsity Soccer team who play in the 1st round of District playoffs at Foley at 5:00pm against Southfield Christian.

Good luck to the JV and Freshman Volleyball teams who host a tri match against LHN and Regina today. Matches begin at 5:00pm.
