Attention Seniors. This is a reminder that Senior Portrait picture day is coming up this Monday, Oct 5th! Senior students will be called down to the Fan Cave in groups alphabetically starting around 8:10am. There is also a $20 sitting fee for this session. Emails and information have been previously sent via Parent/Student newsletters with the link to pay for the mandatory fee.

Monday is also school picture Make-up day for any students who were not here for orientation, or for those who were not in dress code. This is not an opportunity to retake your photo because you did not like your first one. If you are one of these students and need your picture taken for the yearbook and your school ID, you must have a white button down on or with you to change into for the picture. Please see Mrs. Morris in the main office if you have any questions regarding make-up day or Senior pictures.

Do you enjoy speaking your mind, or do you enjoy bringing literature to life? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then the BFC Forensics Team is THE group for you! There will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 7th from 2:55-3:25 in Lab 4 of the Media Center. Students of ALL grade levels are welcome to come and find out how to become a member of our team, who has sent members to national competitions for 6 consecutive years! We look forward to seeing you there!

Homecoming dance guest forms are due no later than 3:00pm today. The forms must be completely filled out and sent by the visiting students' school administrator. There are no exceptions! See Mr. Madsen if you have any questions.

Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale today after school for $15.00, or tomorrow for $20.00.

Attention NHS Students. The sign-up for October PASS sessions will be sent out momentarily. Please take the time to complete and submit the Google form, even if you cannot volunteer, by 1:00 pm today.


Sports Announcements for Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Boys soccer scored a monumental victory against Austin Catholic with a score of 8-0. Eight different players scored with Matt Roberson, Owen Pounds, Blake Olsowy and Alex Marcu scoring first goals of the season.

Last night United Swim and Dive went to Royal Oak and took on Royal Oak and Notre Dame Prep, splitting the matchup falling to Royal Oak 112-67 and defeating Notre Dame prep by a score of 93-82, bringing the team record to 5-6. Avery Wood took 1st and Izzy Smith 3rd in the 50 Freestyle. Avery also took 2nd in the 100 Freestyle.

Next up is Oakland County Championships on Saturday at Waterford Kettering with an 11am start time, and coming up is Senior Night next Thursday, Oct 8th at Troy Athens vs Clarkston, starting at 6pm.

Good luck to JVA and Varsity Volleyball who travel to Greenhills today. JVA plays at 5:00pm, and Varsity at 6:30pm.
